Then, share them with us so others can benefit from your experience. First, here are some pointers for making a strong mix, general mix, light mix and a mist (as noted in the parentheses below).

Easy to mix, money-saving formulations for cleaning

Orange TKO is also one of the most versatile cleaners you'll ever find. It is an organic orange concentrate made from the peels or oranges. It uses NO chemicals unlike its grocery store imitators. It can be mixed in several strengths or dilutions and used for almost any kind of cleaning problem for literally pennies.

For instance, if you purchase a 16 oz bottle of this concentrate for $19.95 (or let's say $20 to make the math easier to follow), you might, for example, divide that bottle into four 4-ounce portions. Each 4-ounces could be used equally to make the four different strengths of cleaners to clean virtually everything in the house. Remember, this is just one scenario. There are, of course, many combinations you could make. The more you buy; the more you save.

Nowhere can you buy 77 to 82 bottles of cleaner for under $20 (USD)! It's a great bargain and environmentally friendly, too. Orange TKO can be mixed in an ordinary empty spray bottle of approximately 24 oz. or a bucket. When Orange TKO mixes with water is will look milky white, this is normal.

Important tips to remember:

1. As a concentrate Orange TKO is very economical. It takes as little as a half a teaspoon to one tablespoon per 24 oz. spray bottle for most general cleaning purposes.

2. Add Orange TKO to water. DO NOT add water to Orange TKO.

3. Orange TKO is not a poison. However, if excessive amounts are taken, drink large quantities of water and call a physician.

4. Use rubber gloves and/or a mask in case of allergic reaction.

5. Always allow TKO time to emulsify a soiled or stained area.

6. Orange TKO does the job. If you do NOT achieve the desired results, repeat application.

Household and Office Uses

Mist: Windows, mirrors, appliances, chandeliers, dusting furniture, chrome, stainless steel, silverware, copper, brass, anything you want to shine. For grooved services spray on TKO mist then sprinkle on baking soda and agitate with a small brush.

Light: Walls, floors, countertops, cupboards, silk plants, etc. (May need stronger for more soiled surfaces.)

General: Sinks, tubs and showers, toilet seats, greasy stove top, range hood and filter, venetian blinds, carpets, fabric, upholstery, vinyl, etc.

Can also use as an air deodorizer or to eliminate skunk odor. For stains on arborite and tough cleaning jobs, sprinkle on baking soda or use nylon scouring pad with General TKO mix.

Strong: Ovens and carpet stains (detailed instructions below), fireplace windows, barbeques, rust, paint brushes and rollers, stains on clothing (pre-soak, if necessary).

Detailed instructions for better results

Ovens: Warm oven, turn off and spray with strong Orange TKO mix. Allow time to emulsify baked-on soil. If necessary, agitate with a nylon scouring pad and baking soda. Soak oven racks in tub with 1 to 2 oz. of TKO in water.

Carpet Stains: Spray on General Orange TKO mix, work into stain with a brush or sponge. Let sit. Spray with water and wipe off with rough terry towel in dabbing circular motion. If necessary, re-apply with Strong Mix or Straight. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Straight**: For removing gum, glue, price tag and gum residue, decals, permanent felt marker, tar, tree sap, blood stains, candle and crayon wax, scuff marks. For cleaning rubber on running shoes. Unclog drains--pour into drain and allow to sit, then flush with hot water. For cleaning raw wood finishings (apply to cloth and rub in) after testing an inconspicuous area first. For cleaning toilet bowels, mix Orange TKO, spray on and let sit for 15 minutes, then scrub).

Industrial Uses

Job Site Clean-Up (General Mix): Removes stains and soils from carpet, concrete and other flooring

Sewer-Work (Strong Mix): Emulsifies oil or sewage spills, eliminates the strongest odors, treats septic and holding tanks

Drains (Straight, no mixing): Clears clogged drains quickly with no damage to pipes. Removes calcium build-up from urinals.

Solvent Replacement (Straight, no mixing): Removes industrial adhesives, resins, glues and silicone.

Furnace Cleaning: (General/light mix): Leaves furnace blower compartments and motors spotless with no residue.

Automotive Uses

Interior: Carpet, upholstery, vinyl, windows, mirrors (see household uses above).

Exteriors: Removes tar, oil, bugs, tree sap, and oxidants. Use on white walls (strong mix or straight)--looks like new.

Motors and parts: Degreases and cleans (Strong mix).

Windshield washer: Fill container with water and add 1 tablespoon of Orange TKO.

Laundry Use

Pre-Spray or Soak: Depending on the amount or type of soil, use a general or strong mix as a spray. For extra tough spots, use straight. Reapply, if necessary. To soak add 1 to 2 tablespoons of Orange TKO to a bucket of water and let sit. May also use 1 to 2 tablespoons per load of soiled laundry to clean up grime. Whitens whites and removes odors.

Recreation Use

RV's: Use in RV holding tank to break down waste and control odor. To add, mix 1 oz. Orange TKO to a half gallon of water and pour into tank. Can also be used to clean water tank or to remove odor or corrosion.

Boats: Removes oils, grease and corrosion from bilge, scuff marks, algae, rub marks from boat bumper and other boats. Use mist only on fiberglass. NOT RECOMMENDED for Plexiglass®.

On and off-road: Removes oil, grease and grime from bicycles, ATV's, motorbikes and snowmobiles.

Fishing & Hunting: Removes fish and other animal oil and dried blood. Spray tent and sleeping bags and wash utensils. Make odor-free footwear as well. Strong enough to eliminate skunk odor.

Pet Power

Removes pet, barn and stable odors. Spray general use mix on pet urine odors. It will remove recent or older pet stains and odors, including cat spray. Can also apply Orange TKO mist (the smallest strength mixture) to pet's coat being careful to protect eyes, ears, and face to remove fleas and ticks. (Do NOT use concentrated). Environmental Protection Agency in U.S. has approved the use of d'limonene on pets to remove fleas and ticks. Gentle on animals and pets when used in diluted form.

Repellent

Rabbits, deer and rodents: Spray mist on plants. Citrus smell deters animals from disturbing plants life.

Insects: Spray mist on ants or other small insects. Mist breaks down waxy coat on bugs.

Garden

In a mist form, Orange TKO will not harm houseplants or even a delicate rose. Orange TKO in its concentrated form, however, will burn grass. But when diluted, it will remove an oil spill from a lawn mower or car without grass damage. The main ingredient of d'limonene in the natural environment is degraded in a relatively short period.

Flood/Fire Clean-up

Spray with general use solution of Orange TKO until smoke and musty odors disappear. Can use to eliminate smoke or musty smell from clothing. Also use as a once over carpet shampoo. Is also effective on mold, mildew and corrosion.
